  "Description": "Stepwise regression is a statistical technique used for\nmodel selection. This package streamlines stepwise regression\nanalysis by supporting multiple regression types(linear, Cox,\nlogistic, Poisson, Gamma, and negative binomial), incorporating\npopular selection strategies(forward, backward, bidirectional,\nand subset), and offering essential metrics. It enables users\nto apply multiple selection strategies and metrics in a single\nfunction call, visualize variable selection processes, and\nexport results in various formats. StepReg offers a\ndata-splitting option to address potential issues with invalid\nstatistical inference and a randomized forward selection option\nto avoid overfitting. We validated StepReg's accuracy using\npublic datasets within the SAS software environment. For an\ninteractive web interface, users can install the companion\n'StepRegShiny' package.",
